Stallion as a Judge at HBO Max's Legendary

HBO Max's "Legendary," premiered in May, is a reality voguing competition inspired by the underground ballroom community. The contestants or the members of different "houses" are competing for the $100,000 cash prize. Megan Thee Stallion is one of the judges for the battles. The young entertainer is with the celebrity stylist Law Roach, Jameela Jamil, and the dancer Leiomy Maldonado better known as the "Wonder Woman of Vogue."

The competition series "Legendary" might not be familiar to all. However, two of the judges, Megan and Jameela, admitted that they are not exactly familiar either when they first got involved at the annual ATX Television Festival. The ongoing series aims to change all that.

Jamil explained that she jumped at the opportunity because there's not much representation of their culture. Also, she added that most of the art we love in the world, the music, the fashion, the dance, the language even, are mostly accepted pop culture that generated from the ballroom. Jameel Jamil realized the importance of their culture and that the world must know where it came from. Lastly, Jamil said, she started as a supportive outsider that served as a platform for her to learn with the audience.

According to Republic World, Stallion said that it blew her mind when she began doing her homework. Realizing the hard work and passion that she needs to do it. Stallion said that because of the HMO Max ongoing series, she appreciated the community even more.
