Tekashi 6ix9ine to start a legal custody battle for his daughter

Tekashi 6ix9ine will be getting into another legal battle after his house arrest ends on August 2, 2020. This time will be for the custody of his young daughter.

TMZ reports that Tekashi 6ix9ine is looking to take ex-girlfriend Sara Molina to court, despite Molina's protests. The former partners will be facing each other in a legal battle over custody of their 4-year-old child Saraiyah.

Lance Lazzaro will be the lawyer representing Tekashi. He claimed that his client would be a part of Saraiyah's life one way or another. The rapper, born Daniel Hernandez, wants to be with his 4-year-old daughter. However, he had to stay away for her safety. Tekashi 6ix9ine later secured a plea deal for a reduced sentence. In exchange, he testified against the members of Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

Only on Sara Molina's terms

However, Sara Molina argues that Hernandez is not doing enough for his part. She also stands by her decision. He can only visit their daughter's father to visit under her terms.

On the lighter side, his mother, Natividad Perez-Hernandez, has been able to visit the child. Tekashi's mother visited during Tekashi 6ix9ine's prison stay and house arrest. In a January 2020 article, Molina also talked to TMZ. She said that letting Hernandez see the child is a viable option. He just has to finish his sentence at home.

She opened up that the "GOOBA" artist was missing from their daughter's life. Furthermore, there are "safety issues" to be addressed before their reunion. Molina is worried about letting Saraiyah meet her dad. After testifying against the gang members, there might be people after the rapper.

There is another requirement Molina posted in her January TMZ interview. Hernandez has to take a psychiatric evaluation to assure her that he has changed.

Last May, Molina called out 6ix9ine for allegedly using their daughter as an excuse to rat out Nine Trey Gang members. She called the rapper out on Instagram. Molina blasted Tekashi 6ix9ine for "apologizing to his fans but not his daughter" who 6ix9ine supposedly "completely neglects and doesn't support."

A legal battle after the other

Tekashi 6ix9ine was first arrested in November 2018. He was later charged with federal RICO and firearms charges. Additionally, he was also up against cases of conspiracy to murder and armed robbery. They filed a request for a reduced prison sentence. In exchange, the artist will cooperate with the authorities. This led to his now-infamous testimony against the Nine Trey members. He was instead sentenced to two-years.

Last July 4, Saturday, Tekashi 6ix9ine extended his gratitude to his fans on Instagram. He treated them to a behind-the-scenes. In the video, he showed the creation of the backdrops he used. He has released three successful singles since he was confined to house arrest. The rapper was allowed to serve the rest of his time at home. His camp requested on behalf of his preexisting asthma. His medical condition puts him at greater risk against the coronavirus pandemic.

On May 8, he released "GOOBA." A month later, the Nicki Minaj-supported "Trollz" dropped on June 12. His latest track, the Spanish party banger "YAYA," was released on July 4. All tracks were supported by their respective music videos. His music videos featured wildly colorful backgrounds, often with guest models and a lot of milk. All three music videos were shot inside 6ix9ine's home.
