Kings Of Leon Celebrate ‘Sh-t Free Show’ In St. Louis Following 2010 Pigeon Poop Attack

"Sex on Fire" rockers, Kings Of Leon, returned to the site of their 2010 pigeon poo attack last night (July 31), and luckily, the show was "sh-t free" –– as drummer Nathan Followill put it.

A few years ago, the band reportedly had to leave the stage during their concert because a group of pigeons continued to relieve themselves on the group throughout their set. Such an action put a bad taste in the mouths of fans all over the world (though probably still better than the taste in the bandmembers' mouths – they claimed to get feces in there during the show). Regardless, the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater was still packed and ready for a great night of music. And it seems they were not disappointed.

Bassist Jared Followill joked before the gig, texting a photograph that showed his friends were having some fun with him earlier that day. One such text held the picture of a pigeon alongside the caption "They are coming for you." Followill posted the picture on Instagram. Check it out below:

Following rocking the entire amphitheater, the band's drummer, Nathan Followill, praised the both the venue and the town, saying, "Thank you St Louis for an amazing night & thank you pigeons for a sh-t free show. Catch y'all on the flip side."
