Rihanna Bruised Face and Forehead in Electric Scooter Accident

Rihanna was injured due to a vehicular accident involving an electric scooter. Photos of the pop star revealed that she suffered bruises on her face. These were taken while she was recovering and sitting in a car near a restaurant in Los Angeles.

Rihanna's representative assured the public that the singer-songwriter is completely fine and recovering quickly. The representative added that the star flipped over the electric scooter resulting in bruises to her face and forehead. Fortunately, fans were relieved to find that no major injuries were reported.

Rihanna was featured in PartyNextDoor's song "Believe It," released on March 2020. In December 2019, she also made hints on an Instagram post that her untitled ninth studio album is complete. As of this writing, no announcement has been made regarding the "R9" release date.

In an interview, she was adamant about not revealing a release date, but she assured that the album would not disappoint. "I am always working on music, and when I am ready to put it out in the way that I feel fit, it's going to come out. And you're not going to be disappointed when it happens. It's going to be worth it."

Another hint was from singer-songwriter Skylar Grey. While working with Diplo, Grey shared some news about a reggae-influenced song for Rihanna. She said that the song was for RiRi's reggae album, but she is not sure if Rihanna is still working on making the album reggae-centric or not.

Fans are hungry for Rihanna's new songs since the artist's last album was ANTI, released in 2016. A month ago, Simon Cowell was also involved in an electric bike accident. The music mogul got multiple back injuries that he had to undergo surgery procedure overnight. Luckily, Cowell is currently recovering while Kelly Clarkson temporarily replaced him on America's Got Talent, and Amanda Holden filled in for him on Britain's Got Talent.
