The 31st Golden Melody Awards Ceremony will be held on October 3. E.So, the "special correspondent" for the GMA this year, will be performing with Just Busy Music Studios' string orchestra. The collaboration will give the audience a whole new visual and audio experience as the performance is a classical-rap crossover.
Being both the "special correspondent" and performer for the GMA, E.So, dubbed as "the Hip-hop Heartthrob", said straightforwardly, "It's amazing to be invited by the GMA. Now that I have given myself a break after my album release promotion events, I have enough time and energy to prepare for this performance."
Known for his distinctive charisma on stage, E.So's music touches people's hearts with its versatility-be it songs of social critique or mellow love songs. E.So, along with his hip-hop group "頑童MJ116", won the Best Vocal Collaboration award with their album BIG THING in 2018. Experienced and confident as he is in terms of performing on the big stage, E.SO says he never really goes on a diet or exercise before gigs, "I always relax and take breaks before I start to prepare in full swing."
E.So is an artist who constantly seeks breakthroughs in his performance, and this time, he will be collaborating with a string orchestra. When asked about such an effort, E.So simply said, "I am still not sure what the performance will bring. We will see what happens on the day."
This year, the 31st GMA will be providing "multi-angled" services, so viewers can also enjoy the ceremony online through various angles. The audience can watch "Red Carpet & Awards Ceremony Live Stream", "Red Carpet & Awards Ceremony-Sign Language Live Stream", "Red Carpet Area", "Red Carpet Hosting Interview Area", "Red Carpet Media Interview Area", and "Acceptance Speech Area" online.
The 31st Golden Melody Awards Ceremony will take place on October 3, Saturday, at 7:00 p.m. at the Main Hall of the Taipei Music Center. The red carpet of the highly anticipated annual pop music award will be broadcast live on TTV starting from 5:00 p.m.
