#BTSWEEK kicked off with the world's favorite K-pop boy group appearing on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."
BTS collaborated with The Roots and Jimmy Fallon for a funky and vibrant rendition of their hit song "Dynamite." The collaboration video currently has over 2 million views, 669 thousand likes, 32 thousand comments, and is currently trending on YouTube at the number three spot.
BTS members RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook joined in by Fallon and The Roots. Each singer had a unique color as background, most likely one that matches their personalities. Members of The Roots play guitars and accompany the boys' vocals, especially during the English portions of the song. Fallon, being the entertainer that he is, appears once in a while for comedic relief.
Not only that, but they also did a stage performance of their 2018 popular song "IDOL" from their third studio album "Love Yourself." The video has more engagement than "Dynamite" with over 3 million views, 903 thousand likes, 50 thousand comments, and is currently sitting at number 4 on trending.
The boy group performed in a special stage fronting the Gyeongbokgun Palace. On top of that, they wore modern-style hanbok outfits as they sing and dance. Both videos were uploaded on the YouTube channel of the American late-night talk show.
Fans and K-pop lovers should watch out for more videos from BTS as they will be featured in The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon for a week, hence the hashtag BTSWEEK.
The talented septet was nominated for Top Social Artist and Top Duo/Group for the Billboard Music Awards which will be held this coming October 14. Additionally, they recently announced releasing their upcoming new album called "Be" on November 20, but dedicated fans can start preordering already since September 28.
