Roselyn Sánchez, the Puerto Rican singer/model/actress/writer, is about to release the video for her single "Pick Up Your Game." The song was released in 2013, and was her first since Borinqueña in 2003. Sánchez announced "Faltan solo horas" ("there are only hours") until the video is posted via her Facebook page on July 29. She then posted a sneak peek of the video two days later.
Sánchez has released a teaser for this video before her performance at the 2013 Latin Grammy Awards, posted here. This music video has been much anticipated since then, especially because Flo Rida worked on the production. Her last music video for "Amor Amor" was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award.
Interestingly, "Pick Up Your Game" was actually an outgrowth of her work on the popular show Devious Maids, in which her character, Carmen Luna, is an aspiring singer. Eva Longoria is the executive producer of the show.
Sánchez is best recognized for her role on the CBS police show Without a Trace; she is cast as FBI agent Elena Delgado. In addition to these more major roles, Sánchez has appeared on many other TV shows and in various films, including Rush Hour 2, The Game Plan and Act of Valor.
Her first big role was on Que Vacilon, a Puerto Rican comedy variety show. She also participated in the Miss Puerto Rico petite and Miss America petite pageants. Her first-ever English speaking role was on As the World Turns.
Sánchez is 41 years old and is married with one child.
