Lorde recently surprised her fans with the release of a new song, "Solar Power." The music video of the song that was released on YouTube was deemed by fans as just "beyond therapeutic."

As reported by Republic World, the New Zealand popstar Lorde has made a social media fiasco after an unanticipated release of her newest song, "Solar Power", last thursday.

The release of her music video on YouTube was also uploaded on the same time that she announced her upcoming studio album with the same title as the track. The songstress' upcoming album is third after her last release back in 2017 of her second album, "Melodrama."

Fans Praise 'Solar Power Music Video's Aesthetic Online

Lorde has just brought the sun in the summer. The two-time Grammy award winner is seen sporting a bright yellow piece of top and skirt that contrasts well with her well-toned body.

The setting of the video is seen on a beach with a bohemian-themed setup. The singer is seen with a pool of people joining her dancing at the beach sporting earth-toned outfits. She sings a melodic ode to the warmer seasons in a very chill and care-free manner.

Fans can't help but create a buzz online after the music video was released. A fan online has described Lorde's music video as just "beyond therapeutic", referring to the Aesthetics of the video.

Lorde Gives a Vivid Sneak Peak of Her Upcoming Album 'Solar Power'

According to Entertainment Weekly, the 24-year old "Royals" singer teased her fans ahead of the release for what's to come. In a newsletter, the singer described the coming of "Solar Power's" release.

"It's about that infectious, flirtatious summer energy that takes hold of us all, come June (or December, if you're a Southern Hemisphere baby like me but I know that's literally IMPOSSIBLE for you all to wrap your little heads around so don't worry about it!!)." , she said.

According to the newsletter, she describes the third coming album as a modern girl-themed list of tracks.

"There's someone I want you to meet. Her feet are bare at all times. She's sexy, playful, feral, and free. She's a modern girl in a deadstock bikini, in touch with her past and her future, vibrating at the highest level when summer comes around."

She describes the character of her upcoming album as a modern summer girl, a perfect mix of playfulness and maturity.

"Her skin is glowing, her lovers are many. I'm completely obsessed with her, and soon you will be too.", she adds, making a tease with her fans with the masterpiece.

Lorde also describes how the natural world helps her in her deepest and darkest times.

"The album is a celebration of the natural world, an attempt at immortalizing the deep, transcendent feelings I have when I'm outdoors. In times of heartache, grief, deep love, or confusion, I look to the natural world for answers. I've learnt to breathe out, and tune in. This is what came through.", she adds.

The title track was co-written by songwriter Jack Antonoff along with Lorde. The duo also directed the music video along with the help of Joel Kefali.
