Timbaland was forced to settle almost $1 million tax debt.
Radar obtained court documents detailing the Internal Revenue Service filing a lien release from April and accusing the music producer of owing about $864,500 in unpaid taxes.
The publication reported that Timbaland's debt stemmed from an unpaid 2019 bill. The Federal Government was even reportedly started to threaten to seize some of his property and assets if he didn't pay them back immediately.
But this wasn't the first time the producer, whose real name is Timothy Mosley, had a run-in with Uncle Sam.
In 2017, he also faced tax issues forcing him to pay about $3.8 million in debt payments.
His tax debt broke down are as follows, $117,200 in 2012, $1,750,000 in 2014 and $1,951,400 in 2015.
Timbaland also admitted that he had money issues in the past. He previously told Rolling Stone that his divorce and medication addiction contributed to the disaster.

Verzuz started as an Instagram Live show where to trendy artists compete against one another by performing their greatest hits.

Later on, the success led to Triller buying a portion of Timbaland and Swizz Beats' company for an unknown amount of money. However, it is believed that the deal is worth about two-digit million.
