Nick Cannon has welcomed his fourth child this 2021 with three different women, and he's undoubtedly raising some eyebrows and getting some significant side-eyes, especially from his ex-wife Mariah Carey.
According to a source who spoke to OK! magazine, the 51-year-old Grammy-winning performer is reportedly "beyond concerned" that Nick's "baby boom" will affect his family time with their twins, Moroccan and Monroe, according to a source who spoke to OK! Magazine.
The source further said that the "Through The Rain" hitmaker believes her ex-husband is "irresponsible and reckless."
"Mariah wants and needs nick to be an active presence in their kids' lives."
Last December, the 40-year-old podcast creator and host welcomed a powerful girl named Powerful with 33-year-old model Brittany Bell. They also share 4-year-old Golden.
On June 14, Nick also welcomed twins Zion and Zillion from Abby De La Rosa and another child with Alyssa Scott, who arrived on June 23.
Per the source, "He swears he has enough love and enough time to be a great parent to all his children, but his attention is going to be divided every which way."
Dividing his attention by seven kids along with several life and career obligations is not going to be easy, regardless of Nick Cannon's event wants to be the best dad that he can be. So it's only clear and relatable how the "Obsessed" hitmaker's concerns make sense.
For sure, though, one thing is that if he brings even more babies into the world regardless also if who the woman is, Mariah Carey obviously will not be pleased.
Mariah Carey Settles Lawsuit Against Ex-Assistant
No matter what the diva's feelings are of Nick Cannon, at least she has one less thing to worry about.
The "Butterfly" singer has recently settled her $3 million lawsuit against her ex-assistant after being accused of trying to blackmail Mariah with "secretly recorded videos."
Unfortunately, the settlement terms have not been made public, and the singer's lawyer has declined to comment. Meanwhile, the former assistant, Lianna Shakhnazarian's lawyers, didn't comment on the issue.
The "Always Be My Baby" hitmaker claimed that her former assistant, who was fired in 2017, recorded embarrassing personal activities and intimate videos of the Grammy-winning performer. If she didn't give her $8 million, the former employee threatened to release them.
However, Mariah Carey's case against her siblings is still ongoing.
