Lollapalooza: Eminem Brings Out Rihanna For Surprise Performance

While Chicago's Grant Park is not on the official Monster Tour slate, fans at Eminem's Lollapalooza performance on Friday night got an early taste of what's the come this August.

During his set – which included parts of more than 30 songs – Em treated fans to early hits such as "Kill You", "The Real Slim Shady" and "The Way I Am" before finishing off with a double encore of – what else – "Encore" and "Lose Yourself".

Midway through the performance, Billboard reports that Slim brought Rihanna onstage for their hits "Love The Way You Lie" and "Monster", both of which reached No. 1 on the U.S. singles chart.

Rihanna then remained onstage to sing the chorus of "Stan", a fan favorite originally sung by Dido on The Marshall Mathers LP in 2000.

Both stars have a history dating back to 2010, when Rihanna was featured on "Love The Way You Lie", the highest-charting song off Em's Recovery album. The following summer, Eminem headlined Lollapalooza for the first time, and brought out Rihanna for a brief performance of the hit song.

Two years later, the pop star was back for "The Monster" on The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

The duo announced their short Monster Tour this March. Here are the official tour dates:
