It's about to be a Lil Boosie takeover.
As the Baton Rouge rapper prepares for his major comeback, he's managed to appear on a few remixes and he even took the time to remake Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan's track "Lifestyle."
No word on if or which project the track would be featured on. Boosie is currently working on his album Touchdown 2 Cause Hell.
According to XXL, the album will reportedly feature Chris Brown, T.I., Jeezy, Trey Songz and more.
As far as the tone of the album and other projects to come, Boosie said fans can expect something different.
"You'll never see me with guns in videos anymore," he explained. "When you get in trouble and they prosecute you, they show that to the jury. You won't hear me calling out D.A.'s names anymore. It's not worth it. It's all about the music. It's all about being successful."
Upon his release from prison, Boosie boasted that he wrote over 1,000 songs while locked up. He plans to release two projects this year.
Touchdown 2 Cause Hell was originally scheduled to be released July 15.
"July 15th and then we gone touchdown and hit 'em again in December," Boosie said.
The album will now hit shelves September 23. No word on the new release date for the second project.
Lil Boosie is also slated to be featured on DJ Mustard's forthcoming 10 Summers album. According to the tracklist, Boosie is featured on a track called "Face Down" with Lil Wayne, YG and Big Sean.
