Drakeo the Ruler's Death: Rapper's Mom Plans To Drop Bombshell Lawsuit Over Son's Tragic Passing [REPORT]

Drakeo the Ruler's mother stood tall and shared her rage and heartbreak after the rapper's senseless death on Saturday night.

The rapper's mother, Darrylene Corniel, told Rolling Stone that she wants justice for her son while reenacting what happened to him on the night of the incident. She ran two fingers up from her collarbone and showed where a culprit stabbed the blade into Drakeo the Ruler's neck.

For the matriarch, the killing put an end to his life and the music career that was starting.

"He was hit in his neck. I saw him when I went to the hospital. They said it's a homicide, so I wasn't able to hug him or kiss him or anything like that. I had to look at him through a window," she emotionally said.

Corniel went on to declare that she wants people to know how much she wants justice for her son. In the end, she warned she would not rest until justice is served.

What Happened to Drakeo the Ruler?

Elsewhere in the interview, Corniel gave all the critical details about the incident. Per the 53-year-old, her son was at the backstage with several people, including his younger brother Ralfy the Plug, whose real name is Devonte Caldwell.

According to the matriarch, witnesses told him that there was a massive influx of crowd when rapper YG arrived. She estimated that 40 to 60 people swamped her sons before everything else happened quickly.

"He was trying to fight, but when he turned around, he could see his brother with blood gushing out of him. He was like, 'Did they stab you?' It was like, there were so many of them," she continued, as quoted by Yahoo Entertainment.

Corniel believes that pride caused the tragedy to occur. However, she reportedly still waits for a formal discussion with the investigators to learn more about what happened.

Meanwhile, she also took her time to say that the venue's security failed its job to promote a safe environment for the attendees and artists. In response to this, they are planning to sue to make someone accountable for Drakeo the Ruler's death.

The Los Angeles-based rapper was not able to perform in front of his fans in Exposition Park as he was horrifyingly got stabbed when a fight broke out backstage. According to the initial reports released by the Los Angeles Police Department, they received a call about a man about 30 years old who was stabbed around 8:40 p.m.

Officer Orris of the LAPD later revealed that a source "with direct knowledge of the incident" confirmed that Drakeo the Ruler was the victim. The rapper, however, did not make it and succumbed due to his injury.
