Rapper 6ix9ine is back at it again in the headlines.

Report says that the rainbow-headed rapper is finally being sued on the Texas concert fiasco in June this year.

Born Daniel Hernandez, Tekashi 6ix9ine, is now facing a hefty lawsuit after skipping a show at the Humble Civic Center in Humble, Texas, last June 27.

The 25-year old rapper took the $75,000 from the promoter upon arrival and skipped his performance after.

6ix9ine's contract stipulates that it would guarantee him $45,000 for signing the paperwork and another $75,000 when he showed up at the concert. The company even spent a WHOOPING $28,000 private jet for Hernandez to fly him from Florida to Texas.

JJD Entertainment, owned by Jamie Dominguez, had to refund all ticket sales because of the rapper's no-show at the venue.

The rapper's team also kept re-negotiating the contract even days before the actual show.

Dominguez claims he spent more than $100,000 from their initial budget. These are spent for the venue, insurance, security, and Hernandez's other demands.

6ix9ine's Rebuttal

The rapper claims on TMZ that he had canceled the show because the promoter, JJD Entertainment, never paid him to perform.

Hernandez's statements were untrue, according to JJD Entertainment, which is also suing him for defamation in addition to demanding reimbursement for losses.

The company claims that Hernandez's comments were damaging to the company's success.

The Brooklyn native claims that he was only paid $70,000 in cash when he agreed to be on the show as a deposit and that he has not received anymore since then.

Takeshi's camp stated that full payment was part of the contractual duty before the concert, and that he returned the $70,000 to the promoters already.

Fans are disheartened on the mix-up as they had to wait from 3pm to 10pm before being informed that Takeshi won't be performing.

Some even paid $500 up to $3,000 for Front Row and VIP Passes just to see the rapper perform.

Last December 2019, 6ix9ine was sentenced to prison for racketeering and other offenses. He was sentenced to 37 years to life in prison, but he got out early after cooperating with investigators and testifying against other Nine Trey Bloods gang members.
