Forbes recently released their list of the most anticipated Pop Albums of 2022, and most of it contained some of the biggest comebacks.
The Jonas Brothers
First on the list is Jonas Brothers. The sibling-trio may have focused on their respective solo careers over the past few years, but they are expected to release a new album this year.
Fans are still waiting for a follow-up to their 2019 comeback album titled "Happiness Begins," which was a massive success to their fans and the charts. Since then, the band released eight singles, but they have not announced an album title yet.
Ariana Grande
Although Ariana Grande has a jam-packed schedule for 2022 because she's set to star in "Wicked" the movie along with Cynthia Erivo, the outlet suggested that the singer is could drop a regular album.
If ever the pop star releases an album this year, it would be a follow-up to her 2020 album "Positions," which contained some of the biggest songs of 2021 like "34 + 35."
Jesy Nelson
Since leaving "Little Mix" in 2020, Nelson focused on her mental well-being and improving herself when it comes to performing. The British singer, who faced quite a backlash in 2020, is expected to get her redemption in her upcoming album, which is yet to be titled.
In 2020, the singer released her first solo single titled "Boyz" featuring Nicki Minaj.
Rihanna
It's been six years since Rihanna dropped her 2016 album "Anti," and fans are still waiting for her to release new music. Although she's busy with her makeup empire, Fenty Beauty, and charitable works after being recognized as one of Barbados' national heroes, Rihanna never forgot the music.
According to Pop Sugar, the "Kiss It Better" hitmaker has been experimenting with reggae sounds. In a previous interview with Vogue, the songstress said, "It's not going to be typical of what you know as reggae. But you're going to feel the elements in all of the tracks."
Frank Ocean
Like Rihanna, Frank Ocean has been missing from the music industry since the release of his second album "Blonde" in 2016.
Fans are speculating that he will drop new music anytime this 2022 because he's set to headline Coachella in 2023.
