Jessie D in the Industry
According to The Sun, the Force MDs were known as an R&B vocal group that was formed in Staten Island, New York, back in 1981.
Apparently, the band was initially named The LDs, which later became Force MCs, then finalized with Force MDs, with its abbreviations that mean Musical Diversity. The group was formed of brothers Stevie D., Antoine "TCD" Lundy, Rodney "Khalil" Lundy, and their uncle - Jessie Daniels.
In the course of their career, they were able to release six studio albums together. In 2000, they released their final album as a group.
Jessie Lee Daniels's death followed the rest of the group who passed away over the years. As reported by the same source, Charles "Mercury" Nelson died in 1995 due to a heart attack, and Antoine "TDC" Lundy had Lou Gehrig's disease before passing away in 1998.
On the other hand, one of the group's DJs, Dr. Rock, passed away in 1996 due to natural causes. Most recently, Trisco Pearson died after his long battle with stage 4 cancer in 2016.
Fans and family members shared their tributes on social media and shared their memories of the one who passed.
One of Daniels' family members posted on Facebook, "My uncle Jessie Daniels was one of a kind... I'm so crushed right now," wrote.
Zakaa Boom Saadiq, an event promoter in New York City, also posted on Instagram with a caption that read, "The year just started and we can't escape the heartache. Rest in Power to my made Jessie Daniels aka Jesse D of the Force MDs."
One fan tweeted, "Rest in peace Jessie Lee Daniels."
May his soul rest in peace.
