It seems like Fat Joe and Remy Ma are "All The Way Up" after winning a suit against copyright claims from their music.
On a federal court ruling issued last January 5, 2022, Fat Joe and Remy Ma were found not guilty of any wrongdoing in a copyright lawsuit involving their 2016 track "All the Way Up," with the judge ruling that they had already paid their accuser for his alleged contributions to the song years before the lawsuit was filed.
In 2019, an artist named Eric Elliot, who uses the stage name Fly Havana, claimed that he had co-authored "All The Way Up". He then continued to assert that he had been cheated out of ownership rights and co-authored the song.
On the other hand, Fat Joe said that he had already paid Eric Elliot a total of $5,000 for his "contributions" after the release of the track in 2016.

The Decision
The judge ruled on January 5 that Elliott had signed away his rights to "All the Way Up" and could not sue anymore - even if he later became dissatisfied with the amount of money that had been paid to him.
The ruling says that Elliot had signed the contract that gives out the rights of his song to Fat Joe while simultaneously receiving $5,000 for the latter.
Elliott, in his complaint, said that he co-wrote the song with Infrared in late 2015 during a studio session. Infrared then took the unfinished track and remixed it with contributions from Fat Joe, Remy Ma, and French Montana.
Later, he goes on to demand credit on his work but was told to meet Fat Joe on an IHOP in Miami to sign a document. Elliot claimed that Fat Joe had "pressured" him to sign the contract. He eventually did sign because he again claimed he felt intimidated by the rapper's "reputation on the street" and was promised additional compensation.
However, U.S. District Judge Naomi Reice Buchwald rejected Elliot's claims as he had signed a contract with a "no additional compensation" clause; therefore, the document shall prevail over any verbal promises that Elliot claimed Joe gave.
On the other hand, Fat Joe has denied making any promises on additional compensation to Elliot. Also, the court had trouble locating evidence of the agreement made on IHOP as they have settled only on using the draft agreement that Elliot had signed.
Originally released on March 2016, "All the Way Up" was a top 10 success on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and peaked at No. 27 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was produced by Fat Joe and Remy Ma and featured French Montana and Infrared.
