She is, in fact, not missing, after all.

Not more than a day after, Rayna Foss, the original bassist of the nu metal band Coal Chamber, was confirmed not missing by her daughter.

Last January 5, 2022, reports have surfaced that Coal Chamber's original bassist Rayna Foss is missing. The initial missing person report by the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) says that she has been missing since September last year.

Foss's group home management reported her missing after she was last seen on September 7 last year. She is 5' 3" tall, 51 years old, and weighs 200 pounds in their description.

Kayla Rose, the daughter of Foss from her ex-husband, Sevendust's drummer Morgan Rose, has finally explained the issue about her mother in a message posted to her Instagram account.

Rose seemed to be puzzled as to where the "missing" story came from as she had "never lost contact" to her mother, whom she had spoken to yesterday, the day wherein the reports have resurfaced to the media.

She also added that she and her grandparents have constant communication with Foss and claimed that they know "exactly" where Foss is. Kayla has reached out to the New Orleans Police District to clarify the confusion and is waiting for the authorities' response.

Foss' daughter also took the platform to debunk rumors circulating around his father, Morgan Rose, and Coal Chamber's former frontman Dez Fafara, who were, in fact, "friends for a long time".

Kayla ended his lengthy statement by expressing her distraught on the altercation as it has disrupted her family, urging people to "check before running these stories".

Foss and Coal Chamber

Since its inception by Dez Fafara and Meegs Rascon in 1993 in Los Angeles, California, Foss appeared on the group's first three albums, 'Coal Chamber' (1997), 'Chamber Music' (1999), and 'Dark Days' (2002).

Rayna Foss was a founding member of the band in 1994, after drummer Mike Cox joined the team, therefore completing them.

After the release of 'Dark Days,' bassist Nadja Peulen, who had previously stood in for Foss during her pregnancy between 1999 and 2000, took up the position permanently.

The band has disbanded in May of 2002 after a public onstage brawl happened between Fafara and Rascon in one of their concerts.

When the band reformed in 2011, Foss was not invited back. Eventually, the band managed to release their fourth and last album, "Rivals", then proceeded to disband the year after.
