Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Ye finally announced the release date of his eleventh album.
Ye's album is already here. With back-to-back teasers from various artists, his much-awaited DONDA 2 will be released sooner than everyone thought.
Ye made the grand reveal on his Instagram account earlier the teaser for the release date of DONDA 2.
With a photo of his burning childhood home in Chicago in the center, DONDA 2's release date is on 2/22/2022. The album will also be executive produced by trap music pioneer Future.
On one of his "Donda" listening performances last year, West famously built a replica of the same childhood home on the release artwork at the middle of Soldier Field Chicago.
At the same performance, he was joined alongside Marilyn Manson and DaBaby at the stairwell of his house's front door. Recent weeks have seen an increase in speculation of a follow-up album to "DONDA".
One source, Steven Victor, who formerly worked with West as the COO of his label GOOD Music, claimed that West is presently working on what he characterized as "his next masterpiece."
No exact lineup of collaborators is revealed yet for DONDA 2.

Who will be the featured collaborations?
However, the rumor mill has been up and going since the end of 2021; either Ye was spotted in studio with another artist, shooting an alleged music video, or in talks with another one.
Last December 2021, Ye was spotted jamming with Scarface in a muted video circulating online. If the rumor comes to fruition, it would be the two artists' first project after two decades.
Post Malone was also spotted hanging out with Ye weeks after DONDA dropped in August.
In a video posted by Akademiks, the two were seen hanging out in a studio listening to Fleet Foxes while their vocalist Robin Pecknold was also there.
Weeks ago, Moneybagg Yo shared to Complex that Ye just "locked him in" on DONDA 2. Tidal, the music streaming platform, seemed to confirm Yo and Ye's conversation by sharing it a tweet.
Tracey Mills, Ye's frequent fashion collaborator, shared a video clip showing Yeezy in a studio with A$AP Rocky, Pusha-T, The Game, DJ Premier, and Antonio Brown.
On the same day as Mill's shared the jampacked clip, photos circulated online showing Blueface in a studio with an all-smiles Ye.
More recently, Ye seemed to have been close with Grammy-winner Cardi B.
The two are speculated to have shut down a Balenciaga store in which they are allegedly working on a music video already. If the collaboration proceeds, this would be the first time Ye would collaborate with Cardi.
Weeks before the release, teasers of upcoming collaborations will be circulating. But will "DONDA 2" equate to what Victor claimed to be Ye's "masterpiece"?
