Coinciding with the start of the International Women's Month celebration on March 1, Billboard is honoring women in music on its second day.
The Women in Music Awards, presented by Billboard, will return to Los Angeles in 2022.
The Women in Music Awards, hosted by Ciara, will take place on March 2 at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles' Hollywood Park.
For the first time, general admission tickets to the event will be made available to everyone.
The public will be able to purchase tickets starting in February.
The annual Women in Music event honors the industry's most accomplished female musicians, producers, and executives for their achievements and contributions to the music and recording industry and their local and global communities.
The nominees
Ten Grammy-Award Winner Bonnie Raitt will receive this year's "Icon Award". The 72-year old American blues singer-songwriter is also a recipient of the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and is listed No. 50 at the Rolling Stone's list of "100 Greatest Singers of All Time".
American Idol alum and rising Country music singer Gabby Barrett earns her first "Rising Star Award" presented by Honda. Her debut single "I Hope" has been certified x5 Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Phoebe Bridgers, a Grammy-nominated Best New Artist, will take home the "2022 Trailblazer Award". On the 63rd Annual Grammys, Bridgers has managed to get four nods with Best New Artist, Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song, and Best Alternative Music Album.
Pop superstar Doja Cat will be receiving the "Powerhouse Award". Doja Cat has earned herself, along with Nicki Minaj, a Guinness Book of World Record for her song "Say So" as the "First Female Rap Collaboration to Reach #1 on The Billboard Hot 100".
Reggaeton rising artist Karol G will be taking home the "Rule Breaker Award". Carolina Giraldo Navarro, known as Karol G won the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist, nominated for several Billboard Latin Music Awards and Premios Lo Nuestro awards all in 2018.
Also, Grammy-nominated Best Artist Saweetie receives the Game Changer Award while Summer Walker earns the Chartbreaker Award after debuting his first album "Over It" at the Billboard 200 chart - breaking the record for the biggest streaming debut-week ever for a female R&B artist.
In addition, Golnar Khosrowshahi, the Founder and CEO of Reservoir Media, will be honored with the Executive of the Year Award during the event.
