After her video crying while face-timing fans circulated online last week, it seems like the reason why she was crying there will be resolved sooner or later.

Teary-eyed, Adele took to Instagram to announce that she will be pulling the plug to her much-anticipated Las Vegas Residency.

Supposedly happening at the Colosseum at the Caesars Palace, "Weekends with Adele" is slated to run for 12 weeks starting from January 21, 2022 until April 16, 2022.

'Weekends with Adele' is postponed

However, as the COVID-19 cases continue to surge accross the continent because of the Omicron variant, the Britsh superstar's team in-charged for putting up the show contracted the virus.

As the show "ain't ready", Adele has no choice but to indefinitely postpone her set of performances in Sin City.

The Grammy-winner was "gutted" and "so upset" as many of her fans have already booked tickets for her 12-week residency.

Facetiming with fans

Days after her postponement of "Weekends with Adele", one of Adele's assistants went to a pop-up merchandise store and surprisingly facetimed her fans.

Again in tears, the emotional Adele personally apologized to her fans, explaining the reason why the production was put to a halt, putting the fans in tears as well.

Fans then continue to assure the crying superstar that "it's okay", noting that they understood why the residency was postponed.

The short clip also showed Adele and her enthusiastic fans jamming her hits "Someone Like You" and "Don't You Remember".

Despite the postponement, Adele's fans remained positive that the residency would happen in the near future.

Determined to make it happen

As exclusively reported by Hollywood Life, the British songstress has "every intention" of making the debacle right and give her supportive fans "the show that they've been waiting for".

Another source has revealed to the website that the songstress "knows" that the "show must go on" and is bent on "doing whatever it takes" to bring the residency to fruition.

The same source revealed that Adele is "determined to right the ship" for her show and to reschedule this year as well.

Adele assured her fans that her Sin City residency will be a "success" as there is no other option".
