The Game signed a deal with Interscope Records for his fifth studio album a decade ago.
His album, "Jesus Piece", peaked No. 6 at the US Billboard 200 and No. 1. on both US Top R&B/Hip-Hop and US Top Rap Albums chart in the same year.
Despite the album's commercial success, it seemed like the "Jesus Piece" was a somewhat controversial release from The Game and Interscope Records.
In a now-deleted tweet by The Game, the Grammy-nominated rapper took a swipe on his former label.
The Compton artist brought out the Universal Music Group Group for alleged "modern slave trade" and pondered his decision to quit the label following his Jesus Piece album.
Because of this, The Game's account has been restricted ever since he sent the tweet, with his bio and all of his tweets stating, "@thegame's account is temporarily unavailable because it violates the Twitter Media Policy."
Twitter has not yet issued a statement or any explanation as to why the account has been temporarily available.

Interscope exit?
This bad blood between the rapper and his former record label seemed to hint at his previous interviews and appearances.'
Five solo albums by The Game were published on Interscope, including 2005's The Documentary, 2006's Doctor's Advocate, 2008's LAX, 2011's The R-E-D. Album, and 2012's Jesus Piece.
The Game revealed that he was quitting Interscope in 2013 during a sit-down with the late Larry King, during which he pointed out that all of his albums had achieved platinum certification already.
Variety published an interview in 2019 with The Game in which he discussed the differences between working with Interscope and now -working with Entertainment One, his new label.
Shift to Entertainment One
The Game revealed that now, with Entertainment One, he has "100% in control of everything". The rapper even described working on his new label as an automobile, saying that the label works like how "General Motors would sell a car".
He also hinted his strong feelings towards Interscope in the same interview. As a "young" and brand new artist, The Game claimed that he was treated poorly, saying it happens to everyone and is "unavoidable" unless one will stay independent.
With Entertainment One, The Game now owns 100% of his masters as the label "just distributes", which the rapper described as a "financial level up".
The Game is now hard at work on his next studio album, tentatively named "Drillmatic".
The project, which Hit-Boy is producing, is expected to contain his recent Kanye West duet "Eazy".
The rapper has also collaborated with Diddy, Pusha T, A$AP Rocky and a host of other notable artists in recent recording sessions.
