The Queen of Rap has finally spoken.

Days before her return to music with her new collaboration with Lil Baby in "Do We Have A Problem?", Queen of Rap Nicki Minaj have finally addressed the possibility of a VERZUZ battle.

In a clip circulating online, Nicki finally spoke up on her interest in appearing on a VERZUZ battle.

Her interview with 97.9 The Box in Houston is now making rounds online after she expressed her willingness to go head to head with another rapper on the VERZUZ centerstage.

More commonly referred to as "Barbz", Minaj's followers have a widespread call to see the celebrated Rap legend go to the VERZUZ stage.

Asked if he would go against other rap legends like Drake and Lil Wayne, the Trinidadian-born singer-rapper was unsure but opened the idea of battling a female rapper.

The 39-year old rap icon also revealed that someone has already been keeping in touch with her, saying that "if it's gonna be fun", fans might see her on the much-anticipated rap stage.

"That's all I'll say about that... It should feel like a celebration. That's exactly what I would like it to be. Fun, happiness, because a lot of times with my career, it feels like work, and now, I'm just like, no, everything needs to feel good.", Minaj ended.

Asked who her possible opponent be, Nicki seemed to have dodged the question. One name, however, is in the air already since the clamor for Nicki on the VERZUZ stage.

Nicki and Lil Kim?

In the 2021 BET Awards, Lil' Kim bluntly answered a red carpet correspondent on who she wants to do a VERZUZ battle against.

Lil Kim, who had a long-standing feud with Nicki Minaj, wants to go against the "Super Bass" hitmaker.

Starting in 2007, the two have been embroiled in controversy when Minaj released photos of her "Playtime Is Over" mixtape. The tape was heavily criticized because it resembled Lil' Kim's "Hardcore", released in 1996.

In the midst of the heated controversy over whether or not Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj should collaborate on a Verzuz performance, Lil Cease has found himself in the middle of the fray.

In response to the two New York rappers' upcoming showdown in the famous music series, Kim's longtime buddy and partner, Cease, has shared his opinion on the match in 2021.

According to Cease, it will be "One of the Greatest celebrations in Hip Hop".
