Billie Eilish earned people's respect as the singer ultimately stopped her concern just to help a fan.
Eilish finally kicked off her most-awaited concert, and on Saturday, she performed in front of her fans in Atlanta. But while she wanted the night to be as smooth-sailing as possible, they hit a temporary glitch when the singer saw a fan who appeared to be in distress in the middle of the crowd.
In now-viral videos shared on multiple platforms, Eilish was seen stopping her number and pointing at one girl who was seemingly getting crushed. She became aware that the woman was having trouble breathing, so she immediately asked her team whether they had an inhaler and instructed the stage crew to get the concertgoer out of the crowd.
Eilish also ensured that everyone was okay by telling them to take a deep breath and step back to allow air to circulate again. With that, she ensured no one would pass out in her concert.
Billie Eilish Shades Travis Scott?
At one point in the video, she seemingly aimed at Travis Scott following the rapper's fatal Astroworld Festival in November.
"I wait for people to be okay before I keep going," she said, causing the crowd to cheer on her.
Her comment came after a video of Scott continuously performing while looking at the dead Astroworld Festival's attendee earned criticisms. The clip shows how the rapper just stood on stage and continued rapping without checking everyone's well-being.
It somewhat contradicted what he told Charlamagne Tha God during his exclusive interview. At that time, he insisted he did not know what was going on. The same statement was shared by his lawyer, Edwin McPherson, during his appearance on "Good Morning America."
According to the representative, the rapper was never told about the crowd crush that left 10 people dead and hundreds of others injured.
"[The message] never got to Travis. It never got to Travis' crew. He's up there trying to perform, he does not have any ability to know what's going on below, especially on a mass level," McPherson said.
The authorities are still investigating what caused the crowd surge. Despite the absence of the findings, the victims already named Scott and several companies as the sole responsible for the event.
