Almost a few days before the Super Bowl LVI weekend, Hip-hop superstars teaming up for the halftime performance seemed to enjoy the preparation for their collaboration performance.
Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, and Dr. Dre will take the Super Bow LVI Weekend center stage from February 12 to February 13, 2022, for their anticipated halftime performance.
Taking place at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, the 2022 Pepsi Super Bowl halftime performance will dominate hip-hop with the star-studded performers slated to perform.
Dre and Snoop
Recently, in a press conference, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg teased the press on what to expect from the upcoming performance.
Dre said there would be surprises ("but I'm not going to talk about them"). Snoop quickly retorted, "there won't be any wardrobe malfunctions, though," referencing the controversial wardrobe malfunction of Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson.
Aside from the "surprises," Dr. Dre also joked that he had to do something drastic to keep everyone together.
The multi-grammy winner revealed that he "had to talk Snoop and Eminem out of pulling their penises out" during the show, "especially Eminem."
In an earlier interview, Snoop Dogg said that Sunday's concert is a "dream come true" for him, although nervous because their performance might be a cultural phenomenon.
Snoop Dogg recently became the owner of Death Row Records.
"We are all one in spirit. "We are all in this together," the rapper said, referring to his fellow musicians. "If you take a close look at it, it is exactly what the world needs to understand: that we need to join together rather than separate or divide," Snoop added.

Eminem and Kendrick
The 2022 Pepsi Super Bowl LVI halftime performance celebrates Dre's career, with the contributions of two of his most renowned protegés, Snoop Dogg and Eminem.
The latter recently appeared on Shade45 with Sway Calloway for a brief chat, during which he praised Kendrick Lamar as "one of the greatest lyricists of all time," among other things.
"Kendrick is at the very top-tier of lyricists. Not just of this generation but of all time," Slim Shady said.
The bold co-sign is huge but not a surprise to many. The two have previously collaborated on "Love Game," and Em has publicly stated his admiration for Kendrick's writing multiple times.
