Kygo's music seems to be on a roll with a new collaboration with Joe Jonas-led band DNCE. The new single's rollout will be on February 25 this year.

Before his headline performance at Sports Illustrated's Super Bowl pre-game party on Saturday, the 30-year-old renowned for his tropical sounds and celebrity collaborations spoke with PEOPLE about their upcoming single.

DNCE comeback with Kygo

Kygo has collaborated with Joe Jonas and his funk-pop band, DNCE, for their new energetic single "Dancing Feet."

The Norwegian DJ and producer explained that being a part of the band's return after a four-year break and working with Jonas was a "fun" and "organic" process.

"I only met Joe briefly at a festival a couple of years ago, but he's a super nice guy," Kygo explained his introduction with the Disney alum. "Joe recorded vocals, and it just sounded amazing."

He also expressed his excitement to be part of the funk-pop band's comeback as he shares as they are "all just very excited about this song."

Previous collaborations

Kygo was well known in the music business due to his chart-topping tracks, which have amassed billions of streams worldwide.

While Kygo has said that he no longer gets "starstruck" as he did early in his career, the DJ has disclosed who he is now excited about.

It was a dream come true for Kygo to work with Chris Martin, who is undoubtedly one of his greatest musical influences.

Selena Gomez collaborated with Kygo on "It Am not Me," Miguel collaborated with him on "Remind Me to Forget," and Tina Turner collaborated with him on the song "What is Love Got to Do with It."

Future projects

Asked who he wants to collaborate next with, he named two huge artists for his next project.

"Definitely, Coldplay would be great. So hopefully we'll get a song together," he explained.

Kygo also added that The Weeknd has been "on top" of his list for his future dream collaborations.

Coachella in California, TomorrowWorld in Belgium, and countless other music festivals and venues worldwide have become synonymous with the DJ and producer's tropical, melodic, EDM sound.
