Farruko announced he has retired in the industry - but there's a twist!

Fans who had been waiting for Farruko's return savored his La 167 tour which he launched last fall. From San Diego, the singer started touring again across the country.

As of press time, he has seven concerts left on his schedule. But before he takes a bow in front of his fans, he also shocked them with news about his retirement.

During his Friday concert at Miami's FTX Arena, Farruko opened up about his new religious beliefs that he showered the attendees with words of God.

"God loves you just the way you are," he said, as quoted by Billboard. "We're all sinners, none of us are perfect."

The singer also spoke candidly about how he has the money and success in the world. Despite that, he still feels empty especially at night. Per Farruko, he destroyed his family when he hurt the woman who loved him for who he was.

But after his emotional performance, he told his fans that "Farruko has retired."

Did Farruko Truly Leave the Stage For Good?

Following his Miami tour, he shared a shocking update on Instagram where he shared that he has tired. Still, he noted that it was only Farruko who left - but he as Carlos would continue performing.

The singer, who was born Carlos Efrén Reyes Rosado, was referring to his "true self."

"Even if one person goes, I'll be there and I'll love you the same whether you attend [my concert] or not. You still have time to not spend your money and time. No one is obliged. There are more artists that you can follow and go see. I am only fulfilling my commitments because I am from word and I owe respect to my fans and God," he went on.

Farruko will continue to show more genuine side of him until his last stop in Puerto Rico.

Meanwhile, his fans took their time to applaud the "new Farruko" and pledged to support him no matter what.

One said, "The whole arena was in tears. It was so powerful. Every message came from the soul. Every message took guts to talk about. He wanted us to learn from his mistakes. He wanted us to be a better version. I support this new farruko!"

"So many ppl are mad at Farruko for using his platform to preach the gospel," another added. "But I can't imagine the dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of people there that night ended up reconnecting with God through him."
