Four weeks since David Archuleta announced that he would be getting back on the road again, the pop singer has some important news to share with his fans.

The "Ok, All Right Tour 2022," which spans a 32-date tour from West Hollywood, California to Nashville, Tennessee, will be canceled indefinitely.

The reason behind the cancellation is David Archuleta's most recent medical diagnosis.

Shocking reason revealed

The 31-year old pop singer has been forced to "indefinitely" cancel his concert tour because of his ruptured vocal cord.

He initially postponed several dates because of the hemorrhaged vocal cord and vocal nodules, but he thought it would heal sooner than he had anticipated.

The American Idol album took to Instagram to announce the huge news, saying that "after lots of thought and consideration," his team has decided to cancel the OK, All Right tour."

To avoid permanent damage to his vocal cords, David decided to follow the medical advice of his doctor as the recovery process requires more extended time than he had initially thought.

Archuleta apologized for the inconvenience the cancellation has caused his fans. "I so appreciate everyone who bought a ticket and was willing to support [me], especially after a difficult time for everyone including myself."

With the indefinite healing time, it is still unknown if David Archuleta can still sing like he used to because of the ruptured vocal cord and vocal nodules.

Aside from the Instagram post, David's team has not issued any statement yet about the cancellation of the concerts and refunds.

'Ok, All Right'

The now-canceled David Archuleta tour is based on his 2020 hit song "Ok, All Right," which is included on her eight studio album, "Theraphy Sessions."

Composed of ten original tracks, David Archuleta revealed that "Therapy Sessions" are basically conversations he had with himself.

Billboard described his new album as his "most honest chapter yet".

A year after the album was released, David Archuleta revealed that he is part of the LGBTQIA+ community while having trouble reconciling his Mormon faith and sexuality.

Therapy sessions peaked at the Billboard Top Current Album Sales at No. 60 last May 2020, the week of his release.
