Since the pandemic struck, most, if not all, countries closed their borders to touring bands from other nations and even from local artists.

In the case of Australia, it is only this year that they will revive the very abundant pre-pandemic live music industry.

Kickstarting one of the most affected industries in the pandemic, the Foo Fighters will bring the "special experience" they always bring at every concert down under in Australia.

The Foos will perform an exclusive one-night concert in Victoria.

This performance marks the first full-capacity stadium show by an international artist in the country since the pandemic struck in 2020 when the live music industry was heavily hit.

The 40,000-seat GMHBA Stadium in Geelong, a port city approximately 40 miles southwest of Melbourne, the state capital, will be packed on March 4 when the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers perform.

Multiple Grammy Winner Foo Fighters will also be assisted with homegrown native punk rock band Amyl and The Sniffers and The Meanies, produced by Frontier Touring.

Variety reported that the one-night concert marks the Victoria Government's partnership with Always Live, a state-wide celebration of contemporary live music launching later this year.

Always Live is intended to highlight local and international acts to bring music fans to Melbourne and Victoria, boosting local jobs and kickstarting the tourism industry.

Australians and The Foo Fighters have a long-standing love for each other as the band's tenth and latest album, "Medicine at Midnight," debuted No. 1 on the country's ARIA Chart.

Throughout their career, the rockers have sold over 1.8 million records in Australia, and they have visited the country on 12 occasions, the most recent being in 2018.

Frontier Touring was in charge of organizing such tours and a slew of others.

To take advantage of Australia's reopening of its last hard borders to international travelers, the Foos will go to the country next week.

The band will be able to be everywhere simultaneously because their horror-comedy flick "Studio 666" will be released in theaters on Friday, February 25, 2022.

According to Grohl, the low-budget, quick little slasher film had not any initial intention of becoming a full-feature film but eventually snowballed.

The horror comedy film also features a cameo from Music icon Lionel Richie and "Halloween" director John Carpenter.
