Adam Lamber appears on "Starstruck," a celebrity music show based in the United Kingdom.

Musical superfans are changed into their idols before performing their idol's best hits on the show.

Adam is joined on the panel by Jason Manford, Beverley Knight, and Sheridan Smith.

The popular show is built on the same idea as the iconic celebrity mimicry show "Stars In Their Eyes."

The grand finale of the show will see the candidates earn large sums of money.

Aside from hosting the show, Adam Lambert is most recognized as Queen's lead singer.

He has been their singer since 2011, replacing Freddie Mercury, who died in 1991.

Last year, Adam and the band were supposedly working on a song, but the idea was canceled after Queen's guitarist Brian May "lost interest."

Queen's drummer Roger Taylor detailed what happened to the song last year in an interview with Mojo magazine (via Express).

"Brian suddenly lost interest, and I'm not sure why," he explained.

They allegedly began it while they were in Nashville, and they were all fatigued at the time.

"We couldn't come up with a title, and the lyric seemed a little too negative for Queen, perhaps."

However, Roger is optimistic that the song will "come to light" because it is "really damn fantastic."

Brian May and Roger Taylor both acknowledged that they attempted to introduce Adam to a new tune early last year.

They revealed the news in an interview with Classic Rock magazine, saying that they were on tour in the United States at the time.

Roger stated that they recorded a song that they didn't finish and couldn't recall the name of.

He continued, "It had all the makings of a wonderful song, but we couldn't get it to work. We were unable to get there."

During the conversation, he also hinted at a possible Queen album with Adam Lambert on vocals.

He also revealed that being on the road had its toll on them all, which led to creative challenges later on.

How Adam Lambert Became a Member of Queen

While still a contestant on "American Idol," Adam Lambert met the remaining Queen members, Brian May and Roger Taylor.

The 38-year-old singer finished second in the show's eighth season.

Queen, Kris Allen, and Adam performed for "We Are The Champions."

Following that, rumors circulated that Adam would be joining the band as a new vocalist, owing to his vast vocal range and on-stage presence.

"That is one incredible instrument he has there," Brian said of Adam's voice in an interview with Rolling Stone in 2011 (via Music Nerds).

Queen and Adam Lambert then performed at the 2011 MTV EMAs. And the rest is history.
