Since their iconic Halftime performance at the Super Bowl, Kendrick Lamar's next act has been sought after by old and new fans, especially with the rumors of an upcoming album.

Recently, Rolling Loud Miami 2022 unveiled their headline acts and performers for this coming July; Kendrick Lamar is one of them.

Headlining along with Kanye and Future, Kendrick will be performing on the same stage to close the festival with "Do We Have A Problem" collaborator Lil Baby, "Super Gremlin" Kodak Black, Baby Keem, $uicideboy$, Trippie Redd, and Moneyybag Yo among many artists.

Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, and Post Malone headlined last year's Rolling Loud Miami festival while the COVID-19 pandemic canceled the 2020 festival because huge outdoor events were not open then.

With the massive lineup set in store for fans for the three-day festival, fans were more hyped up when the Rolling Loud Miami Twitter account highlighted an "almost possible" event might be happening.

The tweet above was already the re-uploaded version as Rolling Loud deleted its previous two tweets after it took rounds on Twitter.

Album before Rolling Loud?

Just like the "re-uploaded" tweet, Rolling Loud talks about how Kendrick's last performance at the festival was five years ago already.

This tweet might mean just a simple tweet for new Kendrick fans, but for avid fans, this was also around the same time Kendrick dropped his Pulitzer Prize-winning album "DAMN."

Kendrick launched "DAMN" not more than a month before 2017's Rolling Loud in Miami.

The announcement also made more sense as news about a new single and an album has been in the air ever since before his halftime performance last Super Bowl weekend.

Kendrick joined the legendary Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime performance with Hip Hop giants like Mary J. Blige, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and surprise guests from 50 Cent and Anderson. Paak.

But six months before the performance, the "Blood" hitmaker announced that he would be capping off his last album at Top Dawg Entertainment, making it one of the most anticipated hip-hop albums in 2022.

That is why it left fans "disappointed" when Kendrick did not drop even a new single before the Super Bowl performance despite the speculation.

Now, with the more "glaring" pattern at sight, fans are hoping again that Lamar would finally drop his new album before the July Rolling Loud Festival in Miami.
