With the current ongoing hostilities between Russia and Ukraine, people have resorted to doing different things just to stay positive and hopeful.
Last weekend, a video of a Ukrainian girl singing Frozen's "Let It Go" made rounds on social media.
Shot in a shelter somewhere in war-torn Kyix, Ukraine, the unnamed girl who seemed not to be more than ten years old gracefully sings the 2013 Disney hit song in Ukrainian.
After performing almost two minutes of the song, joy seemed to fill the entire bunker as watchers erupted into applause.
The video, posted by Zee News journalist Ankita Jain, made round on social media and has now amassed 9.2 million views, almost 50,000 retweets, over 220 thousand likes.
Various personalities, including the original "Let It Go" singer Idina Menzel have watched the sweet rendition. "We see you. We really, really see you," Idina tweeted.
Idina Menzel seeing a mini Elsa
Previously, Menzel portrayed Elsa, the heroine who performs the song in the Disney film "Frozen."
It is unclear, though, if Idina Menzel or Disney would reach out to the kid to help or, in some other way, appreciate the girl's heartfelt song.
Menzel earned a Grammy and an Oscar for her "Let It Go" performance on the movie, winning Best Original Song and Best Written Song for Visual Media, respectively.
"Let It Go" also peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 100 as it was also certified by the Recording Industry Association of America as 8x platinum.
The 50-year old Broadway icon who won a Tony Award with her debut Broadway performance in "Rent," is Jewish and of Russian and East European descent.
Source says that her grandparents emigrated from Russia to New York, where she was born.
People showing love for the kid
People who had seen the touching video sent additional encouraging and supportive comments in response.
Someone claiming to be a Dutch music producer even tweeted an offer to record the unknown girl and donate the money to Ukraine's resistance effort.
"Hi little princess, i'm a music producer from the Netherlands. You have a beautiful voice. I will record a song or 2 or even a cd with you. Every penny will go to the people of Ukraine. Let's get together, with you and your parents! And keep on singing, everybody loves it!," one user tweeted.
