Florence and The Machine is set to embark on an intimate string of concerts in the United Kingdom this coming April to promote their upcoming album.

Still in the studio, Florence and The Machine plans to release their fifth studio album on May 13, 2022, a month later, their UK concerts.

Last week, the band debuted the album's lead single "My Love" and its music video directed by acclaimed director Autumn de Wilde.

Florence and The Machine's UK Concert Schedule

Welch told in a statement that the band "will play music from the new album for the first time" at the upcoming concerts.

Fans who have grown to love the band's older songs will still enjoy the concert as Welch promised to still play fan-favorite songs from the previous albums.

Florence and The Machine will be playing at Newcastle's O2 City Hall on April 15, Blackburn's King George's Hall on the 16th, and London's Theatre Royal on the 19th.

Pre-sale tickets are available for fans today, March 16, by pre-ordering the band's official website. On the other hand, a general sale for the tickets will be available tomorrow, March 17, at 9 a.m. GMT.

Florence and The Machine will donate one pound from every ticket sold to Choose Love, which provides assistance to refugees and internally displaced people worldwide.

Florence and The Machine's 'Dance Fever'

"Dance Fever" is a follow-up on the band's 2018 hit album "High As Hope." The latter album debuted at No. 2 on Billboards 200 and UK Albums chart upon its release.

Udiscovermusic reported that the band's upcoming album, "Dance Fever," was recorded in London during the pandemic in anticipation of the reopening of the live music industry.

The album is said to have implored Welch's missing of festivals, clubs, and dancing - things she does not have the liberty to do during the pandemic.

Sources say that the album predominantly featured themes of "choreomania," a Renaissance phenomenon in which groups of people-sometimes thousands-danced wildly to the point of exhaustion, collapse, and death, a somewhat similar theme to Ari Aster's 2019 thriller hit "Midsommar."

Aside from the string of UK shows, Florence and The Machines will also be gracing a few festivals this summer, including Flow Festival, Øya Festival, and the Mad Cool Festival.
