Phil Collins is a well-known musician who has sold millions of records worldwide.
However, his daughter Lily Collins was unaware of this until she saw someone wearing a shirt with her father's face.
The "Emily in Paris" actress was apparently unaware when her father carried her around Disneyland on his shoulders. It wasn't until a fan asked for his autograph that she realized she had a famous father.
Lily recounted a fan approaching them during her family time, stating that she saw a man with her father's face on his T-shirt. The man then requested her father for a photograph, describing it as a "very weird moment," per Express.
"I was thinking, 'Why does he want a photo of my father, and why is my father on his T-shirt?" she said.
After a brief pause, the "Love, Rosie" star "began to realize."
She also noticed something unusual about her family when other famous musicians, such as Elton John, dropped by for a cup of tea.
According to the British actress, she never saw them as celebrities, but rather as "simply average individuals with a lot of skill."
Phil's daughter, Lily Collins, is the result of his second marriage to Jill Tavelman, which lasted from 1984 to 1996.
Phil Collins' Son Appearance on Genesis' Paris Show
Phil Collins sat down during his final performance with Genesis at U Arena in Paris on Wednesday.
The famed drummer gave his drumsticks to his son, Nic Collins, who took his place as a frail-looking substitute during the event. Phil sat back and relaxed to music after struggling with a number of health difficulties over the years.
The 71-year-old singer performed alongside colleagues Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks, but it was his 20-year-old son who stole the show as he drummed to "In The Air Tonight."
Rumor has it that this iconic 80s band is already on their final hoorah for "The Last Domino Tour" due to Phil's poor health.
Despite the drummer missing a few beats, the event went off without a hitch. The set reportedly included the band's biggest singles over the years, including "I Can't Dance," "Behind the Lines," and "Throwing It All The Way."
Phil Collins has been coping with health problems since 2008, when he suffered from fractured vertebrae in his upper back, resulting in nerve damage.
