Paris Jackson has embarked on her first ever solo tour and is currently on the road. On the other hand, she has a taste of her first disappointment when she was unable to gather a crowd as the opening act in Patrick Droney's tour.
Michael Jackson's daugther was unable to gather a crowd as she opened for Patrick Droney's State of the Heart" Tour at The Space in Las Vegas on Saturday, performing for just 30 people.
In spite of the shrinking audiences in Sin City, the 23-year-old singer looked every inch the rock star. It does not appear that she's paying the small turnout any mind - what's important is that she's performing.
In a crochet maxi dress and a knitted cardigan, the talented daughter of the late Michael Jackson performed a forty-minute grunge rock-style set.
In addition to the beaded bracelets and neck chokers she wore, she wore a gold pendant necklace to draw emphasis to the tattoo on her chest.
Even though she admitted that she had only been playing her electric guitar for a month, Paris exuded confidence in front of the audience.
After the release of her debut album in late 2020, Paris has demonstrated she is ready to carry on the Jackson family's rich musical tradition.
While on her debut tour with the same concert promoters that her family sued after her father Michael died of an overdose in June 2009 and ultimately lost a $40 billion wrongful death case against them, she is performing in front of an audience for the first time.
Dr. Conrad Murray, Jackson's personal physician, fatally overdosed him with propofol on June 25, 2009.

As a result of Michael Jackson's death, her family filed a wrongful death lawsuit in 2010 against the large concert promoter, which is well-known for its work at Coachella, Stagecoach, and the annual New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
Although Michael attempted to resuscitate his career with a large concert under the AEG Live name, jurors ruled that AEG Live wasn't ultimately responsible.
As Paris has repeatedly stated, her happiest location is on stage, where she can share her music with as many people as she wants.
Paris Jackson admitted in a 2020 Variety interview that she aspires to be a performer.
"There are so many different cool parts about being a musician, and performing is one of them," she said.
She even said that her dream career is "to do this for the rest of my life... Connect with other artists like this, and to create like this. It just makes my heart so full. It's that feeling like I'm exactly where I need to be, and I'm doing exactly what I need to be doing. It's hard to explain, but it's incredible."
