Madonna is said to be demanding a lot after being handed complete control over her biopic.
According to an insider who spoke to OK magazine, the "Material Girl" hitmaker has been putting them "through the winger," allowing them to "read, sing, and dance for her," as well as "complete a choreographic boot camp."
Madonna apparently engaged a new writer and reconceived the film from the group's perspective.
Although the studio wishes to create something unique, the performer is believed to want something creative and outlandish.
Madonna is also rumored to be directing the biopic, although there has been no progress or development in the previous two years.
Per the insider, it isn't even close to getting off the ground.
"It's perplexing that Madonna can't seem to get her act together - and, worse, she's making life miserable for everyone else."
The "Papa Don't Preach" hitmaker has been driven to assure the success of her biography, even hoping for an Oscar nomination.
Another insider told the magazine last year, "Madonna has placed everything in her music career on wait to solely focus on the next year, making her impending biography the perfect Oscar movie."
Madonna is a well-known performer, but in her eyes, she has already done everything - except accomplishment in movies.
"She aims on having the most spectacular Oscar Party next year to ensure she charms the voters for the following year when her film will be eligible," the insider stated of Madonna's passion project.
The "Hung Up" singer is also pulling out all the brakes and will do all in her ability to make this film a reality.
Arduous Auditions
The 63-year-old Queen of Pop has apparently been auditioning a number of actresses for the role, with "Ozark" star Julia Garner and "Euphoria" actress Alexa Demie reportedly at the top of the shortlist.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Madonna is also considering several female actors for the next biopic, including Florence Pugh, Sydney Sweeney, Odessa Young, Emma Laird, Bebe Rexha, and Sky Ferreira.
The last five performers, who are still unknown, are apparently facing up to 11-hour-a-day choreography sessions, with one insider stating that "you have to be able to do anything" to impersonate Madonna on film.
It's currently unknown what the title of the movie will be or when it will be released.
