A week after its release, South Korean boy group Stray Kids is writing history for their freshly launched EP, "Oddinary."
Composed of eight members, Stray Kids' members include Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N.
Stray Kids' new EP, "Oddinary," is a seven-tracked project recorded mostly in Korean.
Stray Kids' Oddinary' in Historic Billboard 200 Charts
Per Luminate, formerly MRC Data, the album sold 110,000 equivalent album units in the United States on the week ending March 24.
This put "Oddinary" at the top of the Billboard 200 charts, comprising album sales of 103,000, what is now considered the biggest sales week for an album in 2022.
This is the first time Stray Kids entered the coveted Billboard 200 charts.
Put together by Luminate, the chart shows which albums were the most popular in the United States this week based on how many equivalent album units they sold.
Aside from Korean supergroups BTS and SuperM, Stray Kids' historic charting makes them the third Korean act to debut atop the Billboard 200 chart.
Not only did the Stray Kids "Oddinary" debut atop the Billboard 200, but it also charted No. 1 on Billboard's World Albums, Finnish Charts, and South Korean Gaon Albums chart.
Meanwhile, the project landed only at No. 95 on the UK Albums chart.
Stray Kids 'MANIAC' Tour
In an effort to promote Stray Kids' "Oddinary," the supergroup will be embarking on their second world concert tour in April 2022.
Kicking off in Seoul, the 16-date concert tour is rounding off three stops in South Korea, six performances in Japan, and seven concerts in the United States.
Fans can pre-order Stray Kids "Maniac" tour tickets on Ticketmaster once more details are announced soon.
Last February, the "MANIAC" hitmaker launched the trailer for "Oddinary."
Stray Kids' 'Oddinary'
Stray Kids has never been on the Billboard 200, but the group has had 10 top 10 albums on the World Albums chart before.
During a South Korean reality television show of the same name, Stray Kids, came together in 2017.
JYP has teamed up with Imperial/Republic to get Stray Kids out there, marking "Oddinary" as Stray Kids' first U.S. release with the label.
Lil Durk's "7220" dips at No. 2 while the soundtrack of "Encanto" slips to No. 3.
Holding the 4th spot on the Billboard 200 is Morgan Wallen's "Dangerous: The Double Album," while the late Juice WRLD's "Fighting Demons" catapulted from No. 35 to No. 5 on this week's chart.
