After rocking the Ultra Music Festival with his iconic comeback, Dutch DJ Hardwell dropped an announcement that would surely make his fans dance.

Breaking a four-year hiatus from touring, Hardwell was 2022 Ultra Music Festival's not-so-surprise guest.

His comeback performance sampled Metallica and Linkin Park, on what Billboard has reported as having a "huge, pummeling and thoroughly dark new sound."

After his return to the touring scene, Hardwell unveiled the details for his much-anticipated global tour.

Hardwell's 'Rebels Never Die' World Tour 2022

The Dutch DJ took to Instagram to announce his upcoming "Rebels Never Die" World Tour.

Sharing to his 4.8 million Instagram followers, Hardwell penned what seemed to be a promise for his waiting fans: "I am back. And now I'm gonna show you who I truly am."

The 19-date concert tour included his debut performance at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, one of the only three performances of the 34-year old in the United States.

His next performance would be on Sacher Park in Jerusalem, Israel, on May 26, 2022, almost two months since today.

In his world tour, Hardwell is slated to return for two weekends at this year's Tomorrowland in Boom, Belgium, on July 15 and July 23.

As of writing, Hardwell's "Rebels Never Die" stops at Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome on December 3, 2022.

Dates for his Asian tour in December 2022 are still yet to be announced in the coming months. He is expected to tour Bangkok, Jakarta, Hongkong, Shanghai, and Taipei.

Today, March 29, 2022, tickets are on sale at 12:00H EDT/18:00 HCEST.

Hardwell's Impact on EDM Community

In 2013 and 2014, DJ Mag named Hardwell the world's best DJ for two years in a row. He also ranked the same magazine's Top 100 DJs of the Year poll at No. 12 in 2019.

However, during the height of his career in 2018, Hardwell announced his retirement from live shows, noting that the pressures of heavy touring felt like "a never-ending rollercoaster ride" and to focus on his family.

Luminate (via Billboard) reports that Hardwell's songs, where he is credited as the lead artist, generated 40.3 million official U.S. streams.

Hardwell has four Top 10 albums in his bag on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Albums chart while also having six on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
