Tom Parker battled heroically after being diagnosed with glioblastoma, a deadly brain tumour, before cruelly passing on Wednesday at the age of 33.
He and his Wanted bandmates recently reunited on stage for one last time for their reunion tour, sitting on a throne alongside Nathan Sykes, Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, and Jay McGuiness.
According to a source close to Tom's family, his illness worsened after the trip ended.
They told The Sun how much he enjoyed travelling and even referred to him as a "Rockstar."
Despite his sickness, Tom was allegedly eager to perform on stage one more time with his bandmates. He adored singing and performed two songs every night.
It did, however, drain him.
The insider went on to say that they were struck by how swiftly Tom Parker's health worsened throughout the portion of the trip. He had no regrets, though, because he was determined to complete it and accomplish it.
On March 17, he made his farewell stage performance in Liverpool, sitting on a throne with his bandmates encircling him, singing their popular songs "Glad You Came" and "Gold Forever."
They rallied around Tom, who appeared too weak to sing to the audience, with Siva picking up his vocals, while Nathan never left Tom's side and videotaped what would have been their final moment on stage as a group.
Meanwhile, Max and Jay went to the platform and the main stage to energize the audience.
The entire band also wore sunglasses to show their support for Tom, with the vocalist opting for shades after his eye was forced shut due to his Grade 4 brain tumor.
A frail-looking Tom was determined to join their "Most Wanted: The Greatest Hits" tour as he mouthed parts of the lyrics to "Gold Forever" and appeared deeply moved as he pointed his mike to the crow, who sung the lyrics back to him.
Tom Parker got love and support from his wife Kelsey, as well as his children Aurelia, 2, and Bodhi, who cheered him on from the audience.
Tom Parker delighted The Wanted fans as he entered the stage for his farewell performance that day, barely two weeks after sadly dying.
Fans praised Tom for his resilience and bravery despite his declining health in the comments section of a video of him performing with The Wanted.
