TikTok is undeniably one of the biggest video-sharing platforms to date as its trends transcend throughout the internet and social media.

One thing that users of the platform have a habit of doing is reusing old hits and songs and repurposing them either for a skit, a dance trend, or anything under the sun.

The latest one to trend on the platform is a dance craze of Demi Lovato's 2015 hit "Cool for the Summer."

Cool For The Summer TikTok Dance Challenge

The challenge now amasses more than 3.1 million views as of writing, but its other versions and remixes continue to attract more users to the dance craze.

Considered by some users as the "song of the summer," "Cool for the Summer" is a tad different than the original song.

The track used by most users is a sped-up version of the chorus of the 2015 smash hit.

Aside from the edited audio tempo, some also remixed the music with Ginuwine's 1999 debut single "Pony," which adds a racy effect to the dance craze.
