Many fans were thrilled after Harry Styles released his new song titled "As It Was," and online users are convinced that some of the lyrics of his music are direct references to his girlfriend Olivia Wilde; what did he reveal about his partner?
According to BuzzFeed, the couple has been together for over a year, and little information is known about their relationship as they've been keeping it private.
Many fans have noticed the song's lyrics wherein they alleged Styles referenced his lover.
The lyrics read, "Go home, get ahead, light-speed internet / I don't wanna talk about the way that it was / Leave America, two kids follow her / I don't wanna talk about who's doin' it first."
The outlet dissected the lyrics, and it matched with Olivia Wilde's personal life as she has two children with her ex Jason Sudeikis.
Her childrens' names are Otis and Daisy.
In addition to the kids-related part, Styles' lyrics about leaving America also matched as the actress has been spending her time in and out of Los Angeles.
Sudeikis was based in London to film "Ted Lasso," and the former couple was spotted hanging out in the city a few weeks ago.
Many have also been speculating about the child's voice at the beginning of the track, alleging that it was one of Wilde's children.
However, Entertainment Weekly debunked the claims as the voice belongs to the singer's five-year-old goddaughter.
The song was produced by the former One Direction member's longtime collaborators Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson, along with Styles.
"As It Was" is the first song released from the singer's upcoming album titled "Harry's House," due for release this May 20.
At the time of this writing, Styles has not publicly confirmed whether the song was about Wilde or not.
Other Harry Styles Songs That Has a Different Meaning
In early reports, Harry Styles' "Watermelon Sugar" went viral on TikTok and other social media platforms. Fans who have dissected the track alleged that there is a racy meaning behind the song, and the singer confirmed it in one of his shows.
According to E! News, the former "X Factor UK" contestant performed in Nashville, Tennessee, where he confirmed the ongoing theory about his famous track.
At first, Styles appeared to be hesitant in sharing the song's meaning as he said, "it doesn't really matter what it's about," and the true inspiration behind it is "the sweetness of life."
He later revealed, "it's also about the female orgasm but that's totally different, it's not really relevant."
