Taylor Hawkins sadly died on Mar. 25 in Bogotá, Colombia, where he was set to play with his band, the Foo Fighters.

However, another rock star is enraged by the drummer's untimely demise.

Brian May, a member of Queen, was close friends with the 50-year-old singer and said that it "feels all wrong" that Taylor died at such a young age.

Brian expressed optimism that speaking about Taylor's death may somehow bring him back to life.

According to Variety, despite the Foo Fighters not being in his generation, the guitarist believes that losing Taylor at such a young age is tragic.

According to the English musician, Taylor's death makes you want to negotiate with it as well.

"It gives you the impression that if you look at it long enough, speak about it long enough, study it long enough, you may be able to bring him back, but of course, that is not how it works."

Taylor Hawkins was a notable Queen fan, with Brian admitting that he was the band's "best PR."

Brian talked about how Taylor has benefited Queen's image since he regards the older band as "cool," which many others did not at the time.

The producer of "Bohemian Rhapsody" said how he and the American guitarist became friends because Taylor and Pat Smear were the most knowledgeable Queen fans; "they knew more about us than we did."

Taylor grabbed the vocals for a version of Queen's "Somebody To Love" at Foo Fighters' most recent gig at Lollapalooza Argentina, while leader Dave Grohl performed the drums.

"We were startled to discover how much they cared about us," he said.

Just before to Taylor Hawkins' death, it was stated that Brian was able to speak with him in his Colombia hotel, when the drummer complained of chest issues.

Brian May told SiriusXM's "Debatable" that he and Dave Grohl often discuss his pleasures and difficulties in life, as well as being in Foo Fighters.

Taylor Hawkins also referenced Queen multiple times in a 2016 interview, stating that when asked which song inspired him to play the drums, he selected the band's "Keep Yourself Alive."

Since Taylor Hawkins' death was revealed and verified, Paul McCartney, Miley Cyrus, Stevie Nicks, Elton John, Joan Jett, and Coldplay, among others, have paid homage to his life and achievements.
