The 64th Annual Grammy Awards didn't disappoint with surprises and iconic moments that would probably go down on the Recording Academy's rich history.

The MGM Grand Arena beamed with light as the highly-anticipated Awards show finally happened last night, Apr. 3, 2022, after delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Capping off music's biggest event, here are eight highlights you want to revisit at last night's telecast and surprises you might have missed!

Silk Sonic's Clean Sweep of Four Nominations

R&B superduo Silk Sonic opened the Grammys 2022 with a fiery performance of "777" in a traditional Las Vegas fashion, packed with a full ensemble and a grand spectacle. The duo swept the night, taking home four out of four nominated awards: Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best R&B Song, and Best R&B Performance.

Dua Lipa, Megan Thee Stallion Recreated Whitney and Mariah's 1998 Diva-Off

2020 and 2021 Best New Artists Dua Lipa and Megan Thee Stallion, who both presented Olivia Rodrigo's Best New Artist Award, recreated one of Grammys iconic moments to date. The two had a similar diva off as the two sported the same Versace dress as Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston did in the 1998 GRAMMYs.

Olivia Rodrigo drove through the Grammys bagging three awards, including the Academy's coveted Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album for "SOUR," and Best Pop Solo Performance for her chart-topping "drivers license."

Rodrigo also broke the internet with what seemed to be a "flirty" moment between her and BTS' Kim Taehyung seconds during the Korean boy group performed their worldwide hit "Butter."

Doja Cat, SZA's First GRAMMY Award

"Kiss Me More" won this year's Best Pop Duo/Group Performance from a "crutched" SZA and Doja Cat, marking the two's first Grammy award ever. Doja Cat, who apparently took the "fastest piss ever" before rushing to the stage to accept the award, was moved to tears as she received the award, which she considers "a big deal" for her career.

Lady Gaga's 'Love For Sale' Tearful Performance for Tony Bennett

Taking home the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for "Love For Sale", Lady Gaga performed a tribute to her good friend and collaborator Tony Bennett, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease last year. Bennett, in a pre-taped video, however, introduced Gaga to her heartfelt tribute to him.

Billie Eilish Tribute for the Late Foo Fighters Drummer Taylor Hawkins

Multi-nominated Billie Eilish paid tribute to the late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins in a moving rendition of her hit single "Happier Than Ever." The Foo Fighters, who were supposedly playing last night, pulled out last minute as they faced the tragic loss of one of their key members.

Jon Batiste's 'Moving' Speech Upon Receiving Album of the Year

Starting the night as the most-nominated artist in the room, Jon Batiste left the MGM Grand Arenas as this year's most-awarded singer. Bagging five out of eleven awards, Batiste took home the Album of the Year for "We Are," Best Music Video, Best American Roots Performance, Best American Roots Song, and Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media.
