It's been reported by TMZ that 50 Cent's bodyguard is under criminal investigation following an alleged attack on a fan and his son in a mall after they were attempting to film the "In Da Club" rapper.
According to the site, Curtis Jackson (50's real name) was at the Burbank Town Center when it all went down. During their shopping extravaganza, Lazzeri Frazier and his 16-year-old son noticed the Vitamin Water spokesman and decided to whip out their cell phones for some much-desired celebrities-being-real-people footage. While we're not so sure how 50 felt about being recorded, apparently his bodyguard didn't take too kindly to it, because that's when he stepped in.
Allegedly coming up to the pair from behind, the rapper's bodyguard supposedly ripped the phone from Frazier's hand, which caused the cellular-photog to lose his temper and offer up some not-so-nice words. The bodyguard then pushed Frazier and the two started fighting in the middle of the mall.
When Frazier's young son stepped in to break up the altercation, he reported that Jackson's enforcer punched him in the face. Need we say ouch?
Following the suspected punch, the guard bolted before the authorities arrived. And while Jackson didn't feel like chatting with the cops, the gossip site reports that passersby verified the story. But don't worry, word has it that Jackson is not a suspect.
The rapper has recently been making news in the music game, dropping new material from G-Unit. He released "Come Up" via Twitter last week. Check it out below:
