Camila Cabello and her former Fifth Harmony bandmates are in better terms than Jesy Nelson is with the Little Mix's remaining members, obviously. One of her newest songs will even be featuring her singing about them.

Camila Cabello is eager to share her new songs and outlook on life with the world. She talked about recording Familia and getting through a tough time as she promotes her upcoming third studio album.

"I was just like in a really kind of sh**ty place, like mental health wise," she said in a recent interview with Reuters. "Obviously, I want to make good songs, but to me, it's just like, I just want to have a good time today in the studio and feel safe and feel relaxed and feel like I'm being true to myself."

The third album is different from the first two in that this one allows her to be more "human." This means that she's more grounded on the realities of life and not so much worried about other people.

Given that her first two albums were released when she was so much younger, people can understand why there were a lot of hoping they would be perfect and meet fans' expectations. Now that she's older, things are different.

"My first two albums was, like late teens, early 20s - I had a lot of anxiety making those albums," she said.

Also, she's been able to get back in touch with her former Fifth Harmony bandmates, whom she departed in 2016 to pursue a solo career. For Camila, the other girls in the band - Ally, Normani, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui are totally supportive of her. "We have been like supportive of each other through like DMs and stuff," Camila said of the other members Ally Brooke, Normani, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui. "I'm like in a really good place with them."

This is great news for Fifth Harmony fans. Her departure from the band was quite drama-filled, just like Nelson's from her the Little Mix.

On "Psychofreak," a track from her upcoming album, Camila mentions some of her former bandmates. She sang that they were not to blame for how things turned out, she says in her song.

Camila explained that the song "is basically about anxiety and all of the different things that have made up like my journey with anxiety and starting off really young in the industry."

Maybe this means there's hope for Nelson and Little Mix members to patch things up too. One can recall how Camila was even taunted by the former Fifth Harmony members during the group's first outing sans the "Senorita" singer.

On the group's first outing sans Camila at the 2017 MTV VMA's, the four opened their song with a fifth silhouette of a woman falling offstage. At the time, Camila said she was hurt and called the move "petty," as reported by The New York Times.
