Before shooting to fame, Machine Gun Kelly looked up to one of the most iconic boybands of all time, Backstreet Boys, and he had a bizarre experience when he attended one of their concerts.

Speaking to The Kelly Clarkson Show, the "emo girl" hitmaker shared a hilarious story when he watched a show of the legendary group's "Millennium Tour."

When the "Since U Been Gone" songstress asked him what kind of music he was listening to when he was a kid, Kelly admitted that he was into boybands before. (watch the clip of the interview below)

During second grade, the rapper-turned-rocker revealed he used to imitate dance moves from some of the popular groups of his time.

MGK then revealed he attended a Backstreet Boys concert where he "threw up" during the first song.

"I threw up on the first song because the girls were too loud; they were screaming so loud," he said of why he puked on the show.

Recalling the funny story, the singer said the band- Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, and AJ McLean-came down riding hoverboards for their intro, and he immediately panicked because of the loud noise.

Following this, he immediately left the venue.

He watched Destiny's Child's concert to redeem himself because Nelly was their opening act.

On the same talk show, Kelly Clarkson showed the boyband a clip of MGK's interview, and AJ McLean's reaction was hilarious.

The member of the group reacted, saying, "Fortunately, we hadn't started singing yet. So that's wasn't why he threw up, so that's a good thing. That's a good thing." (via Cinema Blend)

Clarkson then proceeded to open up the topic of invested fans as a "different vibe" because they have been listening to the band since they were younger.

The singer said she has friends who work on backstages and meet-and-greets where they witness wild fans who are so "loud" whenever they meet their idols personally.

Backstreet Boys are currently on their "DNA World Tour," where they will travel to several cities around the globe until November.

Their first stop will be a two-night show at The Colosseum at Ceasars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada starting April 15 to 16.

Most of the tickets are sold out but passes for most of North America are still available on their website.
