Clive Davis, the legendary music producer, somehow sparked concerns despite looking good during his recent 90th birthday celebration.

On Wednesday, Davis welcomed people close to his heart at his party in Lower Manhattan. They got together to celebrate his birthday after turning 90 on Monday.

CBS News confirmed that artists in the music, entertainment, and news industries came together to honor Davis, including Gayle King, Barry Manilow, Alicia Keys, Patti Smith, and Bruce Springsteen, to name a few.

The five-time Grammy winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee looked fine and well despite adding one year to his age, some fans expressed their concerns and asked whether Davis had suffered from any health issues in the past years.

Is Clive Davis Sick? What's He Suffering From?

Fortunately, Davis is indeed healthier than his age. Still, he received one diagnosis that once shocked everyone.

Two years before turning 90, the music king was diagnosed with Bell's palsy. According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, it is an unexplained state that causes facial muscle weakness or paralysis. It reportedly results from damage sustained by the facial nerve, or the seventh cranial nerve. Although it is not considered permanent, it does not disappear in rare cases.

"He is being treated with antibiotics and steroids and is expected to recover within six to eight weeks," his representative told ET Online at that time. "He is in good spirits and looks forward to doing the second half of his pre-GRAMMY gala in May."

Davis reportedly did not have any problem with his ability to speak at the time of diagnosis.

Aside from Bell's palsy, Davis remains free from any dreaded disease that could put his health in jeopardy.

Clive Davis Has a Desired Thermostat

Davis is also known for having long, cold meetings, and the temperature is seemingly what makes him feel better.

In an interview with Variety, more than 25 executives spoke about the record man and revealed the best memories they have with him. According to Melinda Kelly, Davis always maintains 55 degrees in every room he enters.

"He kept the room around a crisp 55 degrees, so you always needed to bring a sweater or jacket. I'm sure he thought it kept us alert, but it really just made us miserable and cold (laughs). However, it was an incredible graduate school that I was fortunate to attend each week," she said.

Regardless of Davis' secret, fans can now rest easy as the legendary music producer does not suffer from anything.
