Ozzy Osbourne's net worth reached a whopping mark after years of having a successful solo music career.

Both Ozzy and his wife, Sharon Osbourne, hit glitches in their own careers due to different reasons. The "Black Sabbath" frontman made fans worried because of his health issues, while his wife left her show, "The Talk," after her infamous feud with Sheryl Underwood.

Despite that, the couple managed to get back up and proved their power in their respective industries.

Is Ozzy Osbourne Richer Than Sharon Osbourne?

Celebrity Net Worth estimates that Ozzy Osbourne's net worth in 2022 is $220 million - the same amount Sharon has. The same website said that Sharon Osbourne's net worth is $220 million, while her salary is around $5 million.

Ozzy began having millions in his bank accounts when he started his music career in 1967. At that time, Geezer Butler recruited him to serve as the vocalist of the band, Rare Breed.

However, the band broke up after two shows - but it led them to debut another band, Polka Tulk Blues, alongside Tony Iommi and Bill Ward.

Two years later, they renamed their band to Black Sabbath, inspired by a film of the same title. From there, they became well known for their dark and gloomy lyrics. Their first album under Philips Records, "Evil Woman," did not receive enough positive responses. But it eventually became their stepping stone to have the best-selling projects under Warner Bros. Records.

Ozzy and Black Sabbath then became more famous following the releases of "Paranoid," "Master of Reality," "Volume 4," "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath," "Sabotage," "Technical Ecstasy," and "Never Say Die!"

He hit a glitch when he was ousted from the band due to his substance abuse issues and "unreliable behavior." While it seemed to be the end of the world for him, Ozzy still saw an opportunity coming directly to him when he was tapped by Black Sabbath's manager, Don Arden, to sign with Jet Records.

Ozzy then expanded his career with the band Blizzard of Ozz and debuted as a soloist.

As of this time, Ozzy has already sold 100 million albums, making a massive contribution to his net worth. His career might never plummet at all as he has been a recipient of several awards, including the Global Icon Award at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
