A new Instagram message from Britney Spears details what she now thinks about having a full-blown career in music.

While she has not released anything for years, partly due to her then still ongoing conservatorship, she never really lost her name and reputation. She is Britney Spears, after all.

But it appears that she can no longer imagine herself going back to doing everything she used to be doing - albums, non-stop tours, interviews, and many more. She said so herself.

To prepare for motherhood and a new career path, Britney Spears took to Instagram to offer some thoughts about the future.

Catching some fans off-guard, she shared that she finds it incredulous that she was able to pull off what she did in the past. She also said that her dad Jamie Spears and other people in the industry now makes her look at the industry in a very negative light. That is understandable, after all that has been said about what she suffered while in conservatorship

"I look back now and I'm like 'how did I do that ???' Honestly just the thought of being in the same building as them let alone the same room makes the hair on my arms stand up !!!," she wrote.

She said her father Jamie Spears and others in the industry had "ruined the thrill of business" for her, and she declared she preferred "a 10 year break" from it all. It remains to be seen whether this is just a random rant and wish, or a concrete plan.

She also discussed parenting and her current journey toward becoming a mother again with her fiance Sam Asghari, 28. She lashed out at the media, accusing them of unfairly criticizing her for "doing the wrong thing" during her first pregnancy and subsequent life as a mom (she shares two sons, Jayden, 15, and Sean, 16, with her ex, Kevin Federline). In addition to always supporting her mother, Lynn Spears, she also recounted a story about helping Jayden when he had "an extraordinarily high fever" when he was a kid.

"He was 9 and I picked him up like a baby and brought him all the way upstairs to my room and put his little body in the tub lukewarm ... not too cold .. not too hot," she shared. "[H]e was still hot so I got a cold compress and put on his head and gave him a fever reducer," she stated, then revealing how her at-home remedy helped her baby wake up the next morning "like nothing happened."

It's clear that Britney Spears is reflecting on how the world has unfairly treated her while she was on her prime and subsequently became a mom. The world has certainly changed now, although she already felt burnt by it all.

She's trying to regain her life though, and enjoying this newest pregnancy. Check out her IG post below:
