This year's Coachella has been one of the most-anticipated festivals ever as it has left fans waiting for almost two years.
Canceled because of the COVID-19 global pandemic, the Coachella Music and Arts Festival 2022 finally made its way last weekend to its original home at Indio, California, for its first of three musical weekends.
A LOT has happened in the last three days, and we have selected a few of the major surprises you may have missed over the weekend.
Coachella 2022 Weekend 1 Recap
First on the list is for the true-blooded KPop fans out there. Pioneer KPop Girl group 2NE1 fired up Coachella with a surprise reunion after taking over now-88rising artist CL invited her former girlies onstage.
Park Bom, one of its members - revealed that they have just finished recording a track following their 11th anniversary.
Harry Styles definitely rocked his debut at the Coachella stage as the first headline act to perform last Friday. As surprising as it was (no pun intended) for his loyal fans to hear him debut three songs of his upcoming album, Styles shocked fans as country legend Shania Twain emerged atop his staircase.
Twain and Styles crooned the 125,000-strong crowd with the latter's hits "Man, I Feel Like A Woman!" and "You're Still The One."
Following his last performance at the GRAMMYs earlier this month, Justin Bieber shirtlessly sent the crowd roaring after he appeared on Daniel Caesar's set. The two performed, without GIVEON this time, their hit song "Peaches."
Brazilian Pop Star Annita kickstarted his 45-minute eye-popping and genre-spanning set with no less than an introduction from Snoop Doggy Dogg himself.
The Latina chart-topper turned Coachella into a full-blown Brazilian party with her "booty-ful" performance with Saweetie, who also made a surprise appearance.
Billie Eilish flew out Blur/Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn from London to California to sing "Getting Older" and Gorillaz's "Feel Good Inc," which Posdnuos of De La Soul joining them onstage.
Lil Baby, who has recently been making headlines for the past few months, definitely made one of the most important performances last weekend with his performance of "The Bigger Picture."
The 2020-hit song was Lil Baby's highly acclaimed protest song in response to the George Floyd murder in the same year that reignited the Black Lives Matter movement in the United States.
